Opening with a Quotation

The beginning is the most important part of the work.

A post can open with somebody else’s words. The index excerpt keeps the whole quotation — balanced markup and all — and the home page sets it as plain text, so what shows there is the quote itself rather than a broken fragment of it.

The rest of the post carries on as normal. This one exists to demonstrate the blockquote-opening case in the demo’s index.
